Parva Domus essential dwelling

 This project stems from reflecting on the concepts of "necessary" and "essential". In this age of excess, of consumption, of the often dramatic imbalance between those who have too much and those who have too little, we do not pause to reflect on what is necessary and what is surplus or even harmful. With this symbolic project, we have traced the perimeter of our basic material needs to expand the concept of necessity regarding emotions, spirituality and relationships with people and the environment that surround us. Hence the aspiration to create a refuge dwelling, an intimate, protective and welcoming place that is not invasive, but a point for observation and listening to be placed in a meadow, on a rock or in a forest, a small object in dialogue with the textures of nature- stone, mushroom, shrub.
